In the olden days, Japanese people used only "Kanji" Chinese character, which is handed down from China, as the notation character, but our ancestors cannot express their thoughts and hearts with Kanji alone, and produce "Kana" Japanese character. "Shodo Calligraphy" is a traditional Japanese cultural art that expresses the beautiful spirit of the Japanese people, such as rich emotions, humility, respect for politeness, and respect for harmony with others. And for Japanese whenever you start learning, you will be able to get close to it from the bottom of your heart. And now Shodo Calligraphy is loved and learned not only by Japanese but also by foreigners. For me, "World peace" is the principle of my Shodo activity, and I am also engaged in overseas activities and international exchanges in order to strive for mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence with other peoples through Shodo Calligraphy which is an expression of one's heart and a part of oneself. We will set up an intensive lessons course according to the length of your stay in Japan and the content you want to learn. Please email us for details.
※ If you are currently residing in Japan and wish to change to a cultural Activities visa, you must take this intensive lessons for at least one week before applying for the visa.
Get "Cultural Activities Visa" to Master Shodo
If you want to master Shodo calligraphy in earnest, we would be able to help you to get the Cultural Activities Visa.
To obtain a cultural activity visa, you need to promise to come to school for about 80 hours a month, and there are some other conditions that you must promise.
Our Shodo School will support you to obtain the visa and you could concentrate to study Shodo for 6months or more to master Shodo.

Half year (6months) course 360,000 yen(※60,000 yen/month X 6months)
